Taste profile
Dry and smoky, with tones of warm spice, chocolate rye and a distinct oak barrel character. The nose is sweet and woody, mixed with bitter earth. The taste is full-bodied and has a pleasant balance of sweet, smoky and woody aromas, as well as a touch of salinity.

Since 2015, I have been fully engaged in the alcohol-free scene. And when the first non-alcoholic spirit was launched, we rushed to order it. We then bought the other brands which were also “distilled and replaced gin”; all plant-based, soft on the palate and (of course) calorie-free. All target adults who put health first.

Everything is good. Except we couldn't ignore the feeling that audiences who care most about the drinking experience were being ignored. You know, people who like to party and meet up with friends over cocktails, and who love the stimulating taste of fine spirits. But who, more or less often, prefer to give up alcohol. There are so many reasons these days... Health; too little time to have a hangover; social media shame; or just the idea that alcohol isn't that cool anyway. At the center of this group, bartenders and mixologists. Challengers by nature, they like to elaborate and keep the taste and appearance of the drink at the center of their concerns.

Gnista was born from the feeling that these people deserved better. We offer dark, intense and complex liquids that can replace alcohol when mixed with drinks*. It is thus possible to prepare non-alcoholic cocktails that have the same taste and appearance as alcoholic cocktails. For real. We like to call it "the next generation non-alcoholic spirit", meaning it's undoubtedly different from the rest of the subtle products on the market.
