The name of this beer takes its origin from a legendary story from Ardennes dating from 1636.
A locality bears this name in the Anlier forest, between Bastogne and Arlon, in the south of Belgium.

Thanks to our intimate knowledge of our land and its respect, we cultivate on our family farm "Beauregard" the barley used in the manufacture of our beers. Thanks to our brewing know-how and total control of the manufacturing process, we offer you 100% natural beers of character.

A company rooted in tradition and local folklore

The birth and marriage of the brewery
The Brasserie des Géants was created in 1997 by two engineers, Pierre and Vinciane Delcoigne, at the Castel d'Irchonwelz, dating from the twelfth century. The first brew was released for sale in 2000.

Brasserie Ellezelloise was founded by Philippe Gérard in 1993 and produces the Quintine and Hercule range. The brewing room allows two to three 15 hl brews per day.

Born from the marriage in 2006 of the Brasserie des Géants and the Brasserie Ellezelloise, the Brasserie des Légendes is inspired by the rich folklore of our regions: the Ducasse d'Ath with its procession of Giants and the Witches' Sabbath of Ellezelles.

Then in 2019, the Brasserie des Légendes took over the activities of the Distillerie de Biercée.
