NANO° is a easy-drinking blonde beer with fresh hop accents. It is brewed with three types of hops and two types of malt, creating a beer with a complex and rich flavor. A special beer with character without alcohol.

Nano° is the combination of NA = ‘Non-Alcoholic’ and NO°= ‘NO alcohol’. Furthermore, NANO refers to the tiny amount of alcohol, i.e. 0.3% to be precise. And yet, it can be called non-alcoholic beer, because it remains below the threshold of 0.5% alcohol. Thanks to the use of a special type of yeast, the sugars are not transformed into alcohol during fermentation. This yeast, however, produces aromatic esters and a complex sensation of flavors and odors. The two malts give the beer its malty notes and its golden blond color.

This NANO° is therefore brewed in the same way as the other Vicaris beer, with the same high quality ingredients.

In Belgium, all beers with an alcohol content of less than 0.5% can be called non-alcoholic beers. As it is a living product with fermentation, the production of a very small amount of alcohol is normal. Even ripe fruit or certain breads can contain more than 1% alcohol.
