vandeStreek brews the most awarded alcohol-free IPA in the world: the Playground IPA ! It’s bursting with flavor thanks to their special brewing technique. Playground is brewed like any other beer and benefits from sufficient resting time in the tank to develop its full flavor. This allows the Playground to offer a true taste experience.

Here is the most awarded alcohol-free IPA in the world: “Playground”! Originally, it was a one-off special edition from an innovative series of beers. As their family grew, Sander and Ronald wondered why no one was using American hops in low-alcohol beers.

This is why we set out in search of the best ingredients and the best brewing techniques, while drawing inspiration from our German colleagues. We have developed an entirely new recipe, with a unique yeast that barely transforms sugars into alcohol, special malts that provide body, combined with the tastiest American hops. 

The taste of our Playground non-alcoholic IPA is full of notes of peach and fresh citrus. It is a full-bodied beer that offers a round and slightly bitter mouthfeel. Playground symbolizes what the brewery represents to us: a playground.

In our brewery, we play every day with the ingredients, the machines, each other and, above all, with the forklifts!

Brothers Sander and Ronald van de Streek started homebrewing in 2010, in an apartment in Kanaleneiland. It can be said without exaggeration that this hobby has taken on disproportionate proportions.

vandeStreek is one of the largest independent craft breweries in the Netherlands; our products are available in supermarkets, specialty stores and bars across the country.

The beer is even successful beyond borders: it is distributed on all continents and available in more than 17 countries.
