This blonde without hoise alcohol, developed by artisanal micro-fermentation, combines tradition and innovation for a rich tasting full of flavors.

Louis Pasteur has revolutionized fermentation, allowing northern breweries to improve their art. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Motte-Cordonnier brewery developed its know-how thanks to the work of pastor and the training of the Pasteur Institute of Lille, where many engineers of the brewery were trained in the control of fermentation.

PRODUCER

About the producer
Some evoke more distant dates but we have the written document which attests that in 1650 Pierre Valenton was a brewer in Armentières along an arm of the Lys river. Her son transmitted the brewery to Jean de Coussemacker who brought her into our family in 1752.
Thus in the line of these 3 generations of precursors, we have been succeeding for 10 generations around this Armentiere passion for beer, for this clever assembly and brewing of water, barley and hops.
This industrial adventure was demanding, technological developments, wars, commercial practices, consumer tastes have forced these 13 generations of brewers to constantly question themselves, to reinvent themselves.
But the passion for beer is still there!
Installed in Armentières, in the shade of the building built by René Motte in 1922, we inspire his energy, his determination to recreate a brewery after the destruction of the 1914-1918 war. Our ambition: one day be able to brew on the historic site!
Today, rich in this almost 370 -year experience, we have decided to offer you our range of beer. It started with the René (a 6 ° blonde beer), a Christmas beer the family beer (amber beer - 7 °) then our beer triple the Emile and more recently a brunette of the 100 years of the belfry.
