DESCRIPTION

It took a year and a half of research and development to obtain a result which "can rub shoulders with other special beers without blushing," said the Huyghe brewery about the Alcohol -free Delio beer 0.3% And already at the origin of the no less famous Delirium Tremens.

Delio has been developed with alternative yeast that does not produce alcohol. "We had to relearn how to brew, laughs the master-breastman Joris Dheedene, but thanks to a creative composition of several grains, we have obtained a fruity, wooded and spicy flavor that clearly refers to the famous delirium. It turns out to be revealed Powerful from all points of view and creates an explosion of flavors in the mouth, with fruity and hops that lead the dance. "

We will obviously emphasize the irony to see an alcohol -free beer appear in a range called according to the very serious neurological disorder linked to alcoholic withdrawal: the delirium tremens therefore ... a touch of black humor today caught up in reality market. A reality clearly assumed by the brewery.

PRODUCER

About the producer
The rich history of
Huyghe brewery

At the place called "Appelhoek" in Melle, the brewing of beer is a secular tradition. In 1654 we find the traces of a brewing activity in this place. As early as 1904, Léon Huyghe took his first steps in the local brewery.

In 1925, he received family support from his son Albert and his son -in -law Louis Droesbeque. The brewery is then officially renamed Brasserie L. Huyghe. Today, with Alain de Laet, the fourth generation Huyghe continues to turn the brassins. The elephant, which was born in 1989, has become an international emblem.

Excellent!
A Well Rounded Beer, full of flavour. Aroma is soft yet spicy, sweet with a tiny hint of almost vanilla.
Body is rich and balanced, sweetness and spice with a long, lingering aftertaste. A Typical Belgian Beer.
