Taste profile

You will love it if ...
Whether you want to exceed the DLUO (deadline for optimal use) or not, it is necessary to keep your alcohol beers in good conditions to preserve or develop the aromas and flavors of the latter.

Alcohol -free beer fears light and heat.

Also, there are 3 basic rules to respect:

Do not expose alcohol -free beers to light, as it directly impacts hops present in the drink, degrading it.

Hops having conservative properties, the alteration of it will make alcohol-free beer can be kept for a long time.

This can also develop unpleasant tastes.

Maintaining beer without alcohol at a constant temperature, ideally between 10 and 15 degrees, in a cellar, like wine.

Too cold a temperature will alter the aromas.

Conversely, too hot a temperature will have the consequence of developing them too quickly.

Hold on alcohol -free beer vertically to reduce the risk by avoiding contact between the liquid and the cap.

This allows the yeast to settle quietly at the bottom of the bottle.

In a word, alcohol -free beer has no shelf life but only an optimal or minimal shelf life.

Therefore, the DLUO can easily exceed several weeks/months without being as long as bad.

And in any case, you should remember that this will not pose a health danger.

PRODUCER

About the producer
Lindemans brasserie
Our family has had a farm since the dawn of time.
It is to occupy (and quench their thirst) the peasants in winter working in our fields that we started brewing activity. Over time and success, our agricultural activities have decreased in favor of the development of the brewery.

The function creates the organ said Darwin.

Today, we are still expanding our brewery to share the love of our beers beyond our borders.

We are indeed convinced that the specific specificities of our beers are a great asset in a world where standardization reigns.

6 generations of Lambic brewers
The "HOF TER KWAD WEGEN", a name that presages anything good since it literally means "the farm of bad roads" ...

However, it is in this old Vlezenbeek farm that a beautiful brewing story has been written since 1822.

It was indeed that year that Joos Frans Lindemans promises loyalty to Francisca Josina Vandersssissen, the very coveted girl of Maria Anna Van Dorselaer and Petrus Jacobus Vandersmissen, owners of the farm.

Joos Frans loves life on the farm, but he wants to prove himself in another way. In the evening, his hands still painful to have plowed the earth, he expects to brew the lumbic. During the winter months, the seventy-five hectares of land and meadows of his farm have little work to offer to the many workers. They then come to join him in the brewery. This is how what was initially a hobby quickly becomes the main activity of the farm.

Since this year 1822, six generations of pioneers have followed one another "Hof Ter Kwade Wegen", first as farmers, later-from the 2nd half of the 1950s-only as brewers. Under the influence of these 6 generations of Lindemans, our brewery has become one of the main producers of the region and the world.
