The online store Sanzalc, for aperitifs without alcohol but full of personality

Itinerary of a spoiled Rabelaisian

Arnaud Calvet seized the opportunity to highlight non-alcoholic drinks consumable by adults by opening his online cellar, the only one in the northern region of Paris. In particular, it offers non-alcoholic beer, from alcohol-free wine, non-alcoholic gin or non-alcoholic whiskey.

"I'm almost a Gersois ", he affirmed. This land of Gascony, known for its fat duck, its garbure and its Armagnac. Amazing wines and succulent restaurants. A land which gave birth to generations of Rabelaisians.

The individual who inspires the amazed look

Ex-rugby player Arnaud Calvet, in addition to being from Gascony, always brought the same energy and enthusiasm to the third half as to the first two.

Almost 2 years ago, he decided to put an end to his alcohol consumption. “ I didn't feel ready to find myself in between ". He ended up understanding that certain codes do not change, and that the word “ aperitif » inevitably relates to alcohol. He can no longer count the number of times he has been told: “ But are you sick? » or “ Come on, just a little drink ». « There are many places where those who don't drink are looked at with a strange eye. “, he explains. “ Except I'm not a child anymore », adds the entrepreneur.

Nolow Botanical Distillate

Arnaud Calvet decided to browse non-alcoholic drinks intended for adults. In the region alone, there is already a wide variety of products that can be served during an aperitif: Nolow Botanical Distillate (in Marcq-en-Baroeul), Young Pug beer from Brique House, LIL and LIL Cola from the Gobrecht brewery, Mauret cider, Noko Kombucha from the Pays flamand brewery... It has listed more than 200 references and recently opened Sanzalc, the first online cellar north of Paris.
