The Couderc Distillery has been an artisan liquor maker since 1908 based in Auvergne, serving quality, generosity, 100% local, 100% artisanal.

The department of Cantal takes its name from the mountain range which peaks at 1855 meters, a remnant of the largest visible stratovolcano in Europe which appeared around 13 million years ago.

It is on this same land that the Louis Couderc artisanal distillery was founded in 1908 and the emblematic Liqueur de Gentiane was born.

The collection now includes a range of liqueurs and creams, always made in accordance with FAMILY TRADITION.

The constant attention paid to the TASTE QUALITY of the specialties is rewarded each year during national competitions.

In 2021, the Aurillac-based company is celebrating the release of its millionth bottle of gentian and continues to INNOVATE by carrying out extensive renovation work in line with the ecological transition.
