How can we not talk about Bordeaux Families without mentioning 1934, the year it all began…

At that time, to face a period of crisis, 126 winegrowers joined forces to create a cellar in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards. This passionate commitment, made almost a century ago, now represents a union of 300 winegrower families (grouping of Caves Louis Vallon and Sauveterre-Blasimon-Espiet). For this reason, they chose to rename the company “Bordeaux Families”.

Today, with the regrouping of Caves Louis Vallon and Sauveterre-Blasimon-Espiet, the union has 300 families who recognize themselves, above all, as such.

We have preserved our traditions and our ancestral know-how as the most precious of heritages.

The mission of Bordeaux Families is simple and complete: produce and mature wines from the vineyard to the cellars, and market these wines.

A land among the most beautiful lands
Our vines are located in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, nestled between the right bank of the Garonne, to the south, and the left bank of the Dordogne, to the north.

With this strong roots, it is the reign of Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle, grape varieties mainly used in the composition of our dry or sweet white wines typical of our beautiful region.

Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon are, here, mainly combined to compose our reds in order to offer high quality wines.

We have opened ourselves to the rest of the world to proudly share our wines and the region that produces them.
