The Tanqueray story begins in 1830, when Charles Tanqueray began distilling gin in Bloomsbury, London.
On his death his son inherited the distillery and moved it to Goswell Road after the merger with Gordon. Several years later, the distillery was transferred to Scotland in 1988, more precisely to Cameron Bridge.
