WHY CHAMELEON?
This reptile transforms by changing color, adapts and demonstrates great stability, perched on its branches. He inspires us.
Because, YES, faced with climate issues, we believe that we will be able to transform our businesses through biomimicry: the art of imitating nature by creating the necessary conditions for new limits set.
AND, since when it changes color, this animal remains a chameleon. Our Chameleon beer is camouflaged in the alcohol-free category, but retains all the characteristics of a good slightly tart, hoppy and fruity beer.

The recipe for our alcohol-free beer: Our alcohol-free beer has not undergone any industrial dealcoholization process! It is first acidified thanks to the action of a lactic acid bacteria (Sour kettle), then, during fermentation with the Pichia kluyveri strain, low alcohol production is ensured.

🧑‍🌾 ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Created in 1999, the Moulins d’Ascq Brewery takes its name from the two mills located at the entrance to Villeneuve-d’Ascq. Originally installed in the center of the Sens farm, in 2021 it moved a few hundred meters away, in new eco-designed premises.

Mathieu Lepoutre, the founder of the brewery wanted to create “a good craft beer” and to be able to control the quality and origin of his different raw materials he directly chose to use exclusively products from organic farming. Wheat malt, barley, hops, sugar come from this agriculture.
